IND vs AUS: Rohit Sharma scolds KL Rahul after a dangerous mix-up in the middle

Rohit Sharma was fortunate not to be dismissed after a major mix-up with his batting partner KL Rahul. In the 16th over of India’s innings, Rahul played the ball to the right of mid-wicket and immediately called for a single. Rohit had to rush back to the crease just in time to avoid being run out, narrowly escaping a potentially disastrous situation.

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul experienced a horrible mix-up, getting stranded in the middle of the crease. Australian captain Pat Cummins midfield the ball at mid-wicket, letting them take an easy single. Rohit wasn’t pleased and quickly scolded Rahul for the confusion. He said:

KL Jaane de udhar se (KL, let the ball go from there).

Both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul managed to stay safe in the end, despite a major mix-up. Their conversation was recorded on the stump mic, with Rahul responding to Rohit’s scolding. It highlighted the tension between the two as they dealt with the communication breakdown on the field.
