The third and final test match between England and Pakistan started today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. England started off the game with the bat, expecting the pitch to be friendly to the batters. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett started off the game with a 50 runs opening stand.

However, Pakistan were quick enough to build a comeback with the ball, as Sajid Khan broke the partnership soon. By the 33rd over, England had lost 6 wickets at the score of 118, but Jamie Smith showed some determination along with Gus Atkinson, as they built up a strong partnership.

Sajid Khan came out to be dominant yet again with the bowl, as he took 6 wickets while conceding 128 runs in 29.2 overs. Jamie Smith helped England to boast a total of 267, by scoring 89 runs for the team. This was also combined by the half-century of Ben Duckett to take the team to a great score.

Pakistan’s opening pair again looked questionable in form, as the team lost their first wicket at the score of 35. Shan Masood and Saud Shakeel will now be continuing the game for Pakistan on the second day, as the team finished the day with 73 runs at the loss of 3 wickets.
