The West Indies team will play two Test matches during their tour of Pakistan in January. The first Test is scheduled from January 17 to 21 and the second Test will take place from January 25 to 29. Both matches are part of the World Test Championship cycle and will be hosted in Multan. These Tests are crucial for both teams as they battle for points in the ongoing Championship, adding extra significance to the series.

The first Test was originally planned for Karachi, but construction work for the upcoming Champions Trophy led the PCB to reschedule the match. As a result, both Tests will now be played in Multan, which will also help with logistical arrangements for the series.

The West Indies team will leave the Caribbean on January 2 and reach Islamabad by January 6. After their arrival, they will have a few days of training before playing a warm-up match against Pakistan Shaheens from January 10 to 12. The match will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium as part of their preparation for the upcoming series.

The team will travel to Multan for the first Test and both Tests of the series will be played at the same ground. Given Pakistan’s recent home record, the pitch is expected to favor spinners. Multan recently hosted two Tests against England.
