He also scored six Test centuries and 14 fifties, making him one of the most successful all-rounders. After ending a phenomenal career at the Gabba, Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket, leaving behind a legacy that includes 537 Test wickets, 156 ODI wickets, and 72 T20I wickets. His remarkable 14-year career saw him make 106 Test appearances, 116 ODIs, and 65 T20Is. Ashwin’s exceptional record includes 37 five-wicket hauls in Tests, the second-most in history, and 8 ten-wicket hauls.

He is particularly renowned for his success against top teams, with 115 wickets against Australia and 114 against England. In addition to his bowling prowess, Ashwin made valuable contributions with the bat, scoring six Test centuries and 14 fifties. He was part of India’s World Cup-winning squad in 2011 and helped India win the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. The BCCI lauded Ashwin for his dedication, innovation, and role as a role model, with several BCCI officials praising his contributions to Indian cricket.
