After being asked to bat first, LSG’s top order exploded with runs, led by Mitchell Marsh’s 81 off 48 balls and Nicholas Pooran’s fiery unbeaten 87 off just 36 balls, which included 7 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 241.66. Aiden Markram also chipped in with a brisk 47 off 28 deliveries.
The innings saw LSG dominate in all phases, racing to 59 in the powerplay and crossing 100 by the 10.3-over mark.
