KL Rahul Struggles with Form, Dismissed Embarrassingly in Unofficial Test Against Australia A
KL Rahul, the Indian batter, has been struggling with his form and needed to perform well in the unofficial test against Australia A at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This match was crucial for him to regain his confidence and prove himself ahead of upcoming international challenges.
KL Rahul, who is competing for the opening spot in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, managed to score only 14 runs in total across both innings in the second unofficial match between Australia A and India A. This performance will be a concern for him as he looks to regain form ahead of the upcoming test series.
The 32 year old was further frustrated by his dismissal in the second innings, which left him embarrassed. He was bowled out by spinner Corey Rocchiccioli and visibly shook his head as he walked back to the pavilion. This added to his disappointment after struggling with his form in the match.

Rocchiccioli bowled a slow delivery that turned towards the middle stump. KL Rahul misjudged it and didn’t play a shot. Instead, he just padded up to the ball, deflecting it onto his own stumps. It seemed Rahul expected the ball to turn down the leg side, but it went through his legs, hitting his pad and deflecting onto the stumps, resulting in him being bowled.
