In the 2014-15 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, with MS Dhoni out injured, Virat Kohli became captain for the first time in a Test match. He scored centuries in both innings of the Adelaide Test, making a big impression on Australian cricket. Kohli’s first tour of Australia was in 2011-12 and he has since scored six centuries in 13 Tests, totaling 1,352 runs at an average of 54.08.
