IPL 2025: Tushar Deshpande Signs with Rajasthan Royals for INR 6.50 Crore in IPL 2025

Tushar Deshpande entered the IPL 2025 mega auction with a base price of INR 1 crore and now has been signed by Rajasthan Royals for INR 6.50 Crore. The right-arm pacer was part of Chennai Super Kings in the previous IPL season. Deshpande will be hoping for a strong bid from teams looking to strengthen their bowling attack in the upcoming season.

Tushar Deshpande started his IPL career with Delhi Capitals in 2020, playing 5 matches and taking 3 wickets. He did not feature in any games during the 2021 season. In IPL 2022, he joined Chennai Super Kings, where he had the opportunity to showcase his skills as a pacer.

In 2022, Tushar Deshpande played only 2 matches. However, in IPL 2023, he had a breakthrough season, taking 21 wickets in 16 games and helping the Chennai Super Kings win their fifth IPL title. He remained a regular part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the 2024 season as well.

Tushar Deshpande played 13 matches in the last IPL season, taking 17 wickets. So far, he has played 36 IPL games and taken 42 wickets. Earlier this year, he made his T20I debut for India during their tour of Zimbabwe, marking a significant milestone in his career.
