In the past few years, India have been on a remarkable run in multinational tournaments. Since 2024, they have won 5 major titles, covering the T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy, Asia Cup and Asian Games. It has been a period of strong results for the Indian side, with the team finding a way to go all the way whenever a major tournament has come around.

The run started with the T20 World Cup 2024, where India finished the campaign as champions. They followed that up with another major trophy in 2025 by winning the Champions Trophy. The Asia Cup later that year also ended with India lifting the title, giving them 3 multinational trophies in a short span. India did not stop there. At the T20 World Cup 2026, they once again finished on top and added another World Cup title to their record.

Their success was not limited to ICC events either. India won the gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games, making it 5 major tournament victories since 2024. The numbers tell the story quite clearly. Across these competitions, India have consistently been able to handle the pressure of knockout cricket and deliver when it matters most. This run has made the period since 2024 one of the strongest phases for Indian cricket in recent times.
