BIG RELIEF for Mumbai Indians! Jasprit Bumrah’s Return Date CONFIRMED

Mumbai Indians' pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is set to return soon after recovering from a back injury sustained in January. While he will miss the April 4 clash against LSG, he is expected to be back for the April 7 showdown against RCB. Bumrah is awaiting final BCCI clearance before rejoining the squad.

After being the backbone of Mumbai Indians’ bowling attack, Jasprit Bumrah is set to return to the IPL 2025 season, but he will miss the team’s upcoming matches. The pacer will not be available for MI’s clash against Lucknow Super Giants on April 4 and remains doubtful for the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 7.

Bumrah has been undergoing rehabilitation since January due to a lower back injury sustained during India’s tour of Australia. He has been gradually increasing his bowling workload at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. However, his return is contingent on final fitness clearance from the BCCI medical team before he can rejoin Mumbai Indians.

The five-time IPL champions, MI, have been struggling without their key bowler, and his absence has impacted their bowling performance. Bumrah’s return is crucial for MI’s campaign as they look to bounce back in the tournament. His experience and wicket-taking ability will be vital for the team’s chances in the later stages of the season. Fans are eagerly awaiting his comeback, as he remains one of the most lethal pacers in T20 cricket.
