Disagreements have emerged between the PSL franchises and foreign cricketers’ agents, causing a standstill in player signings ahead of the 2024 PSL draft on January 11. The situation is further complicated by the potential scheduling clash between the PSL, set for April-May, and the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The franchises have expressed concerns about foreign player availability, with a particular focus on securing big names like David Warner, Kane Williamson, and Jonny Bairstow, who went unsold in the IPL auction.
