Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicket-keeper is expected to be a part of the IPL Mega Auction for the 2025 season, as various teams will be looking forward to bidding their best on him. Some reports have even said that Lucknow SuperGiants and Punjab Kings will be going all-out to get Rishabh Pant to their team.

If Rishabh Pant is not being retained by Delhi Capitals before the retention deadline, he will be entering the Mega Auction, as Lucknow and Punjab will be bidding high for him. It is still not confirmed whether Pant will be retained by Delhi Capitals for the next IPL season or not. The teams have to submit their retention list by 31st October.

The JSW Group said that Rishabh is likely to be the team’s top retention but things have changed for Delhi Capitals now. GMR Group, which is the co-owner of the team, will now take the responsibility of the retention list, and they are all set to run the franchise for the upcoming IPL season.

This recent change in the team’s management, along with Hemang Badani being appointed as the new head coach, there have been various discussions about the retention of their captain Rishabh Pant for the next season. LSG and PBKS are looking for a new captain for their teams and will be bidding high if Pant is not announced for Delhi Capitals in the retention list.
