1. Chennai Super Kings

After failing to reach the IPL 2024 playoffs, Chennai Super Kings are aiming for significant changes, as reflected in their retained player list. The team has retained five key players: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube, and MS Dhoni. These decisions highlight CSK’s commitment to rebuilding and preparing for a more competitive season ahead.

2. Mumbai Indians

After finishing at the bottom of the IPL 2024 standings, Mumbai Indians are focused on rebuilding for the IPL 2025 season. The team has decided to retain key players, including captain Hardik Pandya, former captain Rohit Sharma, India’s T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, and young talent Tilak Varma, aiming for a stronger performance.
