Star India wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul has shared his enthusiasm about joining the Delhi Capitals for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2025 season. Rahul was acquired by DC for a whopping ₹14 crores after an intense bidding war involving Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. DC eventually secured the dynamic opener, who also brings leadership and wicketkeeping expertise to the table.
Since his debut in 2013, he has represented heavyweight franchises like Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings, and Lucknow Super Giants. Across 132 IPL matches, Rahul has amassed 4,683 runs at an average of 45.47, striking at 134.61, with four centuries and 37 half-centuries.
