After 11 years with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s time with the team ended when Royal Challengers Bengaluru selected him in the IPL 2025 Auction. The Indian pacer was bought by the franchise for a significant amount of INR 10.75 crore during the auction held in Jeddah.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who won the Orange Cap for two consecutive IPL seasons, played a key role in helping Sunrisers Hyderabad win the IPL title in 2016. His ability to perform in both the powerplay and death overs made him stand out and had a significant impact on the team’s success.
