Vijay Hazare Trophy: Sanju Samson’s Absence Sparks Captaincy Shift in Kerala’s Vijay Hazare Squad

Sanju Samson has been excluded from Kerala's Vijay Hazare Trophy squad for failing to attend the team's preparatory camp in Wayanad. Despite being in the probables list of 30 players, Samson’s absence led selectors to drop him, naming Salman Nazir as captain instead. This setback affects Samson’s bid for India’s Champions Trophy 2025 squad, after his last 50-over game in December 2023.
