With the T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa over, there has been a big shift in the latest ICC T20I rankings. Pakistan’s star fast bowler, Shaheen Afridi, has dropped significantly, falling one place to 21st in the bowlers’ rankings after a poor performance during the series. Along with Shaheen, Haris Rauf also saw a slip, moving three positions down to 26th after failing to take any wickets in the last two matches.
In the batting department, Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Rizwan has fallen two spots to 8th, while Babar Azam has made a significant rise, moving up one place to 6th in the T20I rankings. Despite a low score in the first ODI against South Africa, Babar continues to hold the top spot in the ICC ODI batting rankings, with Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli following him in second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
