The moment came in the 16th over of Pakistan’s innings. Facing a free-hit delivery from Aaron Hardie, Hardie delivered a pinpoint yorker on the leg side. Shaheen, batting left-handed, got under the delivery with precision, unleashing a helicopter shot that flew towards the mid-wicket boundary for a four. Though he failed to generate enough power for an over boundary, these four runs were crucial for the team at that moment.

Though Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled, Shaheen managed a quick cameo of 16 runs off 12 balls, which included two boundaries and a six. Despite his efforts, Pakistan faltered, managing only 117 runs before being bowled out in 18.1 overs. Australia chased the modest target in just 11.2 overs with seven wickets to spare, securing a 3-0 series whitewash.

While Pakistan lost the match and series, cricket lovers enjoyed Saheen’s adopted innovative strokes inspired by legends like Dhoni. For fans, it was a reminder of the shot’s enduring legacy in cricket history.
