Marcus Stoinis Announces Shock ODI Retirement Before Champions Trophy

Marcus Stoinis has retired from ODI cricket, finishing with 1495 runs at a 93.96 strike rate and 48 wickets in 74 matches. The 35-year-old, part of Australia’s 2019 and 2023 World Cup squads, aims to focus on T20 cricket. His career highlight was a 146* against New Zealand in 2017. Australia will name his Champions Trophy replacement by February 12.
