In T20 cricket, scoring a century is considered one of the toughest achievements for any batter. With only 20 overs available, players have very little time to settle before attacking from the very first ball. Still, some teams have consistently produced big hundreds through world-class batters. India, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Rajasthan Royals currently lead the chart for the most team centuries in T20 cricket history.

India National Cricket Team – 25 Centuries

India holds the record for the most T20 centuries with 25 centuries. Their batting success has come through a mix of experienced stars and young attacking players. Rohit Sharma leads India’s century chart with 5 centuries in 159 matches. He has scored 4231 runs with a best score of 121 not out. Suryakumar Yadav follows with 4 centuries in just 113 matches and has maintained an outstanding strike rate of 162.94.

Sanju Samson has contributed 3 hundreds, while rising stars Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma have already scored 2 centuries each. Abhishek has been particularly destructive, scoring at a strike rate of 190.46. KL Rahul has also added 2 centuries and remains one of India’s most dependable T20 batters. India’s ability to produce match winners across different eras has helped it dominate this list.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 20 Centuries

Royal Challengers Bengaluru became only the 2nd team in T20 history to reach 20 centuries. Their place on this list is no surprise, considering the legendary batters who have represented the franchise. Virat Kohli leads RCB with 7 centuries, the most by any batter in IPL history. Chris Gayle follows with 5 hundreds, including his iconic unbeaten 175 against Pune Warriors in 2013, which remains the highest individual score in T20 cricket.

AB de Villiers added 2 centuries for the franchise, while Manish Pandey became RCB’s first centurion in 2009. Rajat Patidar also made history with a century in the IPL playoffs. RCB has built its reputation around aggressive batting, and its 20 centuries reflect years of batting dominance.

Rajasthan Royals – 19 Centuries

The Rajasthan Royals are just behind the RCB with 19 T20 centuries. Much of their success has come through explosive top-order batting. Jos Buttler leads the franchise with 7 hundreds in 83 matches. He has scored over 3000 runs at an average of 41.84. Young talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has already smashed 2 centuries in only 18 matches.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shane Watson, Ajinkya Rahane, and Sanju Samson have each contributed 2 centuries. Their consistent run scoring has made Rajasthan one of the strongest batting sides in T20 cricket. With 19 hundreds already, Rajasthan Royals remain in touching distance of RCB’s tally.
