For the upcoming IPL 2025 clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 28 at Chepauk, RCB faces a major setback as pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar is doubtful due to injury concerns. A Revsportz reporter revealed that Bhuvneshwar is yet to achieve full match fitness, and his availability will be determined after RCB’s practice session on Thursday.

Earlier, RCB posted a cryptic update hinting at Bhuvneshwar’s potential return, but sources suggest the pacer is still struggling with fitness issues. If he fails to recover, Rashid Dar Salaam is likely to retain his place in the playing XI, while Swapnil Singh is also being considered as an alternative due to his impressive performances last season.

The CSK vs RCB clash is one of the most anticipated early matches of the tournament as both teams aim to settle scores from last season. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to face off in the sixth IPL 2025 match in Guwahati. Both teams share a 14-14 head-to-head record. RR started their campaign with a 44-run loss to SRH, while KKR lost to RCB by seven wickets. RR is predicted to win the RR vs KKR match.
