Jani’s innings, laced with eight boundaries and four sixes, came at an impressive strike rate of 177.77, providing the much-needed stability and aggression to Saurashtra’s innings.

Saurashtra faced early setbacks, losing wickets at regular intervals, including opener Tarang Gohel for a duck and Harvik Desai for 17. Prerak Mankad contributed a quick 16 off 12, but it was Jani who held the innings together after the team slumped to 72/4. He received some support from Sammar Gajjar (11) and Ruchit Ahir (10), while Jay Gohil chipped in with a fiery 17 off 6 in the final overs.

For Madhya Pradesh, Venkatesh Iyer (3-0-23-2) and Rahul Batham (3-0-18-1) bowled economically, while Avesh Khan took 2 wickets but was expensive, conceding 51 runs in 4 overs.
