Rishabh Pant Leads Frauds XI as Iceland Cricket Roasts IPL Stars in Viral Post
In a viral post, Iceland Cricket named an IPL 2025 Fraud and Scammers XI, led by Rishabh Pant, who scored just 128 runs in 11 games. Venkatesh Iyer (142 runs) and Ishan Kishan, who struggled after an opening century, also featured. The list included 5 CSK players and top-priced underperformers.

With the IPL 2025 entering its crucial second half, Iceland Cricket stirred controversy by mocking underperforming players with a satirical “Fraud and Scammers XI” post on X. Labeling Rishabh Pant as captain and wicketkeeper, the list featured 12 players, including some of IPL’s costliest buys. Pant, who was bought for INR 27 crore, has scored only 128 runs in 11 matches for Delhi Capitals. Venkatesh Iyer, acquired for INR 23.75 crore, has fared no better with just 142 runs for KKR. Ishan Kishan, despite a century in the season opener, has failed in his last nine innings, scoring mostly single-digit figures.
