Smriti Mandhana (India)

In 2025, Smriti Mandhana from India became the number one women’s player for runs scored in ODIs. She scored 1362 runs in women’s ODIs, more than any other woman has ever scored in a single calendar year, and exceeded previous long-standing records. Laura Wolvaardt from South Africa also performed incredibly well at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which earned her the title of highest run-scorer of the tournament with 571 runs. She also gave stability to the South African batting order.

Pratika Rawal

Another Indian batter had an incredible year by the end of 2025. Pratika Rawal ended the season with 976 runs, which helped her be in third position on the list. This also put her on the list of the few batters who have scored 900 ODI runs.

Sidra Amin

In bilateral series outside the World Cup, Sidra Ameen featured among the leading performers. During Pakistan’s 2025 tour of South Africa, she was the top run-scorer for her team in ODIs with 289 runs, including substantial contributions in multiple matches.
