Pakistan vs England: Noman Ali and Sajid Khan Pick 20 Wickets in a Test Match to End an 11-Match Winless Streak
Pakistan secured a 152-run victory over England in the second Test of the series, levelling it at 1-1. Noman Ali was exceptional, taking 11 wickets throughout the match, while Sajid Khan claimed 9 wickets. This marked the seventh instance in Test history where just two bowlers accounted for all 20 wickets in a match.
Pakistan have finally ended their 11 match winless streak after defeating England by 152 runs in the 2nd Test match of the series. While chasing a target of 297 runs, England was bowled out for just 144 runs, giving Pakistan a chance to equalise the series. Ben Stokes was the top run-scorer for the England team in the fourth innings with 37 runs while in the bowling department, Noman Ali picked 8 wickets by giving away just 46 runs in the process.
In the first innings, Pakistan blasted 366 runs and bowled out the England team for 291 runs and got the lead of 75 runs. Coming to the 2nd innings, Pakistan got 221 runs and set a target of 297 runs, but got the England team out for 144 runs. Kamran Ghulam made a century for the Pakistan team in the first innings while Ben Duckett was the centurion for England in the first innings.
