In the third and final T20I of the home series against Bangladesh in Hyderabad on Saturday, October 12, Team India’s wicket keeper-batter Sanju Samson stole the show with a stunning performance. He achieved his maiden T20I century, scoring an impressive 111 runs off just 47 balls.

Samson captivated the audience with his explosive stroke play, blasting eight sixes and 11 fours during his innings. Not only that, he reached the 100-run milestone in just 40 balls, making him the second-fastest T20I centurion in India’s history. In the 10th over of the innings, he blasted five back-to-back sixes against leg spinner Rishad Hossain.

After Bangladesh struck early by dismissing opener Abhishek Sharma, they faced relentless pressure from the Indian batting duo. Sanju Samson and captain Suryakumar Yadav unleashed a formidable assault, combining for a remarkable 173-run partnership off just 70 balls.

Suryakumar dazzled with a quick 75 runs from 35 balls, while Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag provided vital contributions with scores of 47 and 34, respectively. With this mammoth display of batting power, India ended their innings at an impressive 297/6. Furthermore, this is the second-highest team total in T20I history.
