The 2025 season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) continued with an action-packed 19th match at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, where the Chittagong Kings posted an impressive 203/6 against the Sylhet Strikers. Opting to bat first after Sylhet chose to field, the Kings set the tone with explosive batting performances.

Usman Khan anchored the innings with a well-crafted 53 off 35 balls, striking 8 boundaries and a six at a strike rate of 151.42. He shared a vital 68-run partnership with Graham Clark, who dazzled with a blistering 60 off just 33 deliveries, including 3 fours and 5 sixes at a staggering strike rate of 181.81. However, it was Haider Ali who stole the show in the death overs. The dynamic batter smashed an unbeaten 42 off just 18 balls, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes, accelerating the Kings’ scoring rate to 10.15.

The Strikers’ bowlers struggled, with only Tanzim Hasan Sakib (2/38) and Nahidul Islam (1/30) delivering economical spells. The Kings crossed key milestones, including 150 in 15.5 overs and 200 in 19.5 overs. Haider Ali’s late blitz ensured the Kings finished strong, putting them in a commanding position with an 83.06% win probability at the break.
