Ambati Rayudu Blasts Trolls Over MS Dhoni Loyalty as Shocking Statement Shuts Down Critics!
Ambati Rayudu defended MS Dhoni amid the IPL 2025 criticism, slamming trolls and calling out paid PR campaigns. Despite Dhoni’s limited batting, Rayudu’s support remains firm. After Navjot Sidhu called him a chameleon, Rayudu responded strongly on X, urging critics to donate to charity instead of PR.

With the ongoing IPL 2025 season stirring debate, former cricketer Ambati Rayudu has come out strongly in support of MS Dhoni amid growing criticism. At 43, Dhoni is under fire for his limited on-field contributions, often batting as low as number nine for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Many fans and experts believe it’s time for CSK to move on from the veteran. However, Rayudu, known for his loyalty to Dhoni, has remained vocal in backing the former India skipper.
Rayudu’s firm stance has invited trolling from fans and even jabs from fellow commentators, including Navjot Singh Sidhu, who recently called him a “chameleon” during an on-air exchange. Despite the criticism, Rayudu addressed the backlash on X (formerly Twitter) on April 10, reaffirming his unwavering support with the words: “I was a Thala’s fan, I am a Thala’s fan, I will always be a Thala’s fan”. He further criticized those allegedly engaging in paid PR campaigns against Dhoni, urging them instead to donate that money to charity to help the underprivileged.
As the Dhoni debate continues, Rayudu’s post has reignited the discussion around player loyalty and the treatment of aging legends in Indian cricket.
