In the 32nd match of the Women’s Big Bash League, Adelaide Strikers showcased clinical all-round performance to beat Perth Scorchers by 30 runs at Adelaide Oval. Batting first, the Strikers set a challenging total of 169/6, with key contributions from Smriti Mandhana (41 off 29), Katie Mack (41 off 34), and Laura Wolvaardt, who blasted 48 off just 28 balls. Tahlia McGrath and Bridget Patterson also provided late impetus, adding quick runs to push the total beyond 160.

In reply, the Scorchers were never able to build significant partnerships. A flurry of early wickets saw them reduced to 17/4 by the 4th over, with Megan Schutt and Anesu Mushangwe leading the charge.
