For the past few weeks, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, have been in the spotlight due to rumors about their alleged divorce and a ₹60 crore alimony settlement. Neither Chahal nor Dhanashree has confirmed the news, but the speculations intensified after Chahal posted a cryptic message on social media, thanking God for protecting him from unseen challenges.

The couple, who met during the COVID-19 lockdown through Dhanashree’s online dance classes, got engaged in August 2020 and married in December of the same year. Reports of their relationship troubles first surfaced in 2022, but both dismissed the rumors. Recently, InstantBollywood claimed Chahal might pay ₹60 crore in alimony, though no credible sources, including the Times of India, have verified the figure.

Professionally, Chahal was acquired by Punjab Kings for ₹18 crore in the IPL 2025 auction after playing for Rajasthan Royals last season. Despite the ongoing personal controversies, Chahal continues to focus on cricket, gearing up for the upcoming IPL season. Both Chahal and Dhanashree have urged fans to ignore unverified claims and respect their privacy.
