Yo Yo Honey Singh Reveals MS Dhoni as His Favourite Cricketer
During his Millionaire Tour in Kolkata, singer Yo Yo Honey Singh revealed MS Dhoni as his favourite cricketer, calling him ocean for his unmatched personality. Earlier, Singh was a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar. Dhoni, who currently plays for Chennai Super Kings, has led the team to five IPL titles and won multiple ICC trophies for India.
After the recent leg of his Millionaire Tour in Kolkata, Yo Yo Honey Singh revealed that his all-time favourite Indian cricketer is MS Dhoni, not Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. During the concert, the popular singer-rapper praised Dhoni, calling him a one-of-a-kind personality and referring to him metaphorically as “samandar” (ocean), highlighting Dhoni’s calm and vast persona. He also reminisced about being a huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar during his early years, calling him the cricketer he admired most when he first fell in love with the sport.
MS Dhoni, who continues to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, remains one of India’s most loved and successful cricketers. Under his captaincy, India won multiple ICC titles, including the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup. He has also led CSK to five IPL championships.
Meanwhile, Honey Singh is working on his upcoming album “International Villager 2”, featuring Punjabi tracks and produced under Speed Records. The album includes contributions from writers like Leo Grewal, Rony Ajnali, and Gill Macchari. Singh has also sung the title track for “Raid 2”, starring Ajay Devgn, and is set to make a special appearance in the film.
