Ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Indian cricket team is preparing intensely in Dubai. With experienced players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja, India is considered a strong contender. Rohit, boasting participation in 17 ICC events, including nine T20 World Cups, three ODI World Cups, two Champions Trophies, and two World Test Championships, highlighted his vast experience in a conversation with Jadeja and Shubman Gill.

India’s Champions Trophy campaign begins on February 20 against Bangladesh in Dubai. The team will miss star pacer Jasprit Bumrah due to injury, with Harshit Rana named as his replacement. Coach Rajkumar Sharma remains confident in Virat Kohli’s form, dismissing concerns over his recent struggles. Kohli, after a tough red-ball season and a mixed ODI series against England, is expected to regain his rhythm in the high-stakes tournament.

The BCCI also revised its travel policy, allowing players’ families to attend one game at their own expense. Additionally, players now have a 150 kg luggage limit following past excesses. As Pakistan hosts its first major ICC event in 29 years, Group A, comprising India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh promises thrilling contests.
