Some reports have said that Harshit Rana will be released from the Indian squad for the current Ranji Trophy edition. He is expected to play the next game for Delhi in the Ranji trophy, which will be played against Assam from 26 October. Harshit Rana was travelling with the Indian team in the form of a reserve player.

He almost got the opportunity to make his debut against Bangladesh, but was overlooked by the team management. But it is still expected that Rana might make his debut for the team in the upcoming series against South Africa.

It has been reported that Harshit Rana will be available for Delhi to play at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the upcoming Ranji match against Assam. The reports even said that the Delhi and District Cricket Association talked about the availability of Harshit Rana for domestic cricket, as Delhi’s team is suffering from a bowling crisis in the current season.

Navdeep Saini will not be available to the team in the upcoming match against Assam, as he will be travelling to Australia for the India A tour. Having the availability of Harshit Rana to the team will surely give them an upper hand in the next encounter. The team being led by Himmat Singh is also suffering from injury issues, as some players got injured in the previous match against Tamil Nadu.
