Australia outclassed Pakistan in all departments to claim a resounding seven-wicket win in the third T20I at Hobart. Pakistan, opting to bat first, managed only 117 in 18.1 overs as the Australian bowlers wreaked havoc.

Babar Azam stood tall with a fighting 41 off 28 balls, while Haseebullah Khan chipped in with 24 off 19 as a support. However, the rest of the batting faltered under pressure. Pakistan’s innings collapsed dramatically after Babar’s dismissal at 91/5, losing their last five wickets for just 26 runs. Spencer Johnson and Adam Zampa were the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets each. Aaron Hardie further tightened the screws with an impressive 3/21.

Australia’s chase began briskly despite early hiccups, with Marcus Stoinis leading the charge. Chasing 118, Australia lost Matthew Short early, but Marcus Stoinis delivered a masterclass in power-hitting. His unbeaten 61 off just 27 balls, laced with five boundaries and five massive sixes, dismantled the Pakistani attack. Josh Inglis contributed 27 off 24, providing stability at one end. Aussies raced to the target in just 11.2 overs, maintaining a stunning run rate of 10.41.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi (1/43), and Jahandad Khan (1/17) managed to pick wickets but failed to stem the run flow. Haris Rauf’s expensive spell ended Pakistan’s hope more badly.
