Fakhar Zaman has been a major talking point in Pakistan cricket. Despite actively playing in domestic matches, he remains out of the national team and hasn’t been recalled to the squad. His exclusion has raised discussions among fans and experts, as many question why he hasn’t been considered for a return to the national setup.

As shared by Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman is unwell and suffering from an illness. The team management has recommended his participation in the Champions Cup T20, hoping it will aid his recovery and help him regain full fitness soon. He said:

I don’t think anyone knows that he’s unwell, basically. It’s not only a fitness issue, meaning it’s not like he failed a fitness test. From what I personally know, he’s unwell with something like a viral fever. Because of this illness, he’s been advised to participate in the ongoing T20 tournament in Pakistan.

After supporting Babar Azam in a tweet following his removal from the Test team, Fakhar Zaman faced consequences from the PCB, receiving a notice. He was later excluded from Pakistan’s squad for the Australia and Zimbabwe tour, missing both ODIs and T20Is.
