India’s star player and one of the best ever to pick up the bat, Virat Kohli, could be planning a major move. His childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, revealed that Kohli is considering relocating to London with his wife, Anushka Sharma, and their children. Although the exact reason behind the move wasn’t disclosed, it is believed that Kohli seeks more privacy for his family, away from the constant media attention in India. His coach said:

Yes, Virat is planning to move to London. He’ll leave India very soon. Virat is still super fit, and retirement isn’t on the cards anytime soon. He’s got so much more to give to the game. I’ve known him since he was a kid, and I can say with confidence that there’s plenty of cricket left in him.

Despite this, Kohli’s cricketing career remains unaffected. Rajkumar reassured fans that Kohli is not retiring anytime soon, citing his excellent fitness and passion for the game. He expects Kohli to play for at least another five years and be a part of India’s 2027 World Cup squad. If the move happens, it will mark a significant shift, but Kohli’s place as one of India’s cricketing legends will remain intact. The decision seems aimed at providing a normal upbringing for his children.
