The T20I series between India and Australia has come to an end. And India has continued its undefeated T20I series streak, securing a 2-1 win in this rain-affected series. With this, a meme fest has also started on X, with fans pulling up the best memes.

This time, the team secured a 2-1 series win against Australia, in Australia, which also comes as a big series win for Suryakumar Yadav and company. With the T20 World Cup 2026 coming closer, the team’s confidence is now boosted with this series win.

The series had a dramatic view, starting with a rain-affected match and ending with the same. Still, fans were delighted to watch the Indian team secure yet another series win with its young side. This has also allowed them to bring up a meme storm on X and show their emotions after India’s series win in Australia.

After that, India had Gill & Abhishek, Samson & Abhishek, Samson & Gaikwad, and now back to Gill and Abhishek. But when Abhishek and Samson used to open for the team, it was a different phase.

They were able to bring up consecutive centuries for the team, and India was able to pull up boundaries on almost every ball. This duo changed with Gambhir as the Head Coach, due to which fans have created the best memes. During the fifth T20I, Australia had a tough time in the field. The match was played for just a few overs, but fans still wonder what could have happened if it had been played for the entire 20 overs. Australia made several mistakes on the field, costing them runs in the game.

The team even dropped the catches of Abhishek Sharma, not once, but twice. To this, a Twitter user decided to create some memes for the fielding of the Australian side. Posting an image of Pakistan’s team, it said that the Australian team on the field today was similar to them. This was a great way to compare the poor fielding.

At this time, fans do remember what he tweeted when Virat Kohli had a tough phase, with years going by without a ton. Babar Azam tweeted for Virat that this too shall pass, and he should stay strong. But not long after that tweet, Virat found his form back, and Babar Azam continues struggling.

The India tour of Australia could be termed as a domination of the Sharma’s. In the ODI series, Australia won by 2-1, but Rohit Sharma announced his comeback in style. He was able to score a century and a half-century in the three-match series, and received the POTS award in the same.

While the T20I series was intense, Abhishek Sharma showed the world why he is the number one batsman. He was able to receive the Player of the Series award in the T20I series, with both Sharma’s winning the awards. Now, just imagine what could happen if both Sharmas decide to open together for the Indian team.

We already took a look at Dinesh Karthik’s bowling for the team. But the year took a more intense turn, as Yashasvi Jaiswal decided to bowl for his team in the Ranji Trophy. The opening batsman for the Indian team in the Test format tested his skills with the ball when other bowlers failed to take a wicket.

Fans were thrilled to watch him bowl for the team, and it seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Some fans even called this a Shane Warne moment, that Jaiswal could be the next big spinner for the Indian team. A few even said that he is bowling to get his place in the Indian team.

As of now, the internet is filled with tons of trade rumours. And the majority of those rumours are around Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Both teams are involved in a trade deal involving Sanju Samson. It should be noted that the news has been there all the time, but no official information has been given to the fans.
