Leading the list is India’s Rohit Sharma, who amassed 378 runs in 11 innings at an average of 42 and a strike rate of 160. His performances included one century and three fifties, showcasing consistency in challenging World Cup conditions. He said:

He has scored one century and three half-centuries. The conditions were difficult in the World Cup, but he gave a start every time and played aggressively. He is my No. 1 T20I batter for 2024.

England’s Phil Salt takes second place with 467 runs in 17 matches, averaging 39 with a strike rate of 164, smashing 25 sixes and 44 fours.

At number three is Sanju Samson, who stunned with three centuries, scoring 436 runs in 13 games at an average of 43 and a strike rate of 180. Australian powerhouse Travis Head ranks fourth, contributing 539 runs in 15 games with a strike rate of 178. England’s Jos Buttler rounds out the list with 462 runs in 15 matches, averaging 42 and striking at 164. This list celebrates the best of 2024’s T20 batting excellence.
