Rohit Sharma Climbs ICC ODI Rankings, Virat Kohli Drops After CT 2025 Final

For the first time since the conclusion of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the latest ODI rankings have been updated, bringing significant changes among the top batters. India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, has surged to the No. 3 spot after his match-winning knock of 76 runs in the final against New Zealand. Kohli slipped one place to No. 5, allowing South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen to move up to No. 4. Despite finishing as India’s second-highest run-scorer in the tournament, Kohli missed out on the Player of the Tournament award.
