Rajat Patidar Named RCB Captain for IPL 2025
Rajat Patidar has been appointed as the new captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for IPL 2025. Retained for ₹11 crore, Patidar has played 27 matches for RCB, scoring 799 runs at a strike rate of 158.85. He replaces Faf du Plessis, with Virat Kohli also in contention. Kohli, who led RCB in 143 matches, congratulated Patidar on his elevation.
