The ICC has released its pitch ratings for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with the Perth Stadium, Adelaide Oval, Gabba, and the MCG pitch all receiving the highest “very good” rating, and the SCG was given the second top category “satisfactory”.
Australia won the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 by defeating India 3-1, also securing a spot in the ICC World Test Championship final. India started strong with a 295-run win in the first match in Perth. However, Australia bounced back, leveling the series and then winning the last two matches by large margins to claim the trophy.
