In a video, Travis Head, Steve Smith and Pat Cummins all named Sachin Tendulkar as their favorite Indian cricketer from their childhood. Head admired his ability to bat for long periods, Smith praised his style and skill and Cummins noted that Tendulkar was the obvious choice for many fans. Head said:
It will have to be Tendulkar. He’s the most we watched on TV batting. Cause no one else would. He used to bat the whole time.
Alex Carey shared that he admired MS Dhoni growing up and had the chance to play against him. Glenn Maxwell mentioned that everyone loved Sachin Tendulkar and highlighted VVS Laxman’s unique style and memorable performances.
Mitchell Marsh revealed that Sachin Tendulkar was his favorite Indian cricketer growing up. Usman Khawaja, on the other hand, admired Virender Sehwag, calling him awesome and highlighting his unique playing style.
