Meanwhile, Scott Boland made a spectacular rise in the ICC Test Rankings for bowlers, jumping 29 places to share the ninth spot with Ravindra Jadeja. Boland played a pivotal role in Australia’s success in the series, claiming 21 wickets at an exceptional average of 13.19, including a six-wicket haul. He dismissed Kohli four times, contributing significantly to Australia’s triumph.
Other notable performances include South African batter Ryan Rickleton’s rise to No.55 after a remarkable 259 against Pakistan and Temba Bavuma’s career-best No.6 ranking. In the bowlers’ rankings, Pat Cummins climbed to second, while Jasprit Bumrah maintained his lead at the top despite missing the second innings due to injury.
