Tim David Turns Swimmer in Bengaluru Rain Before RCB’s Big Match!

After the rain poured down at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 15, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Tim David turned the delay into a moment of fun. Instead of heading off like his teammates, David embraced the weather, sliding playfully across the waterlogged covers. The amusing moment, dubbed “Swim David” by RCB, went viral on social media, with fans and teammates applauding his cheerful antics.

The light-hearted incident came just before RCB’s crucial IPL 2025 clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on May 17, which also marks the tournament’s resumption after a temporary break. RCB, the defending champions, are currently second on the points table with 16 points from 11 matches and a net run rate of +0.482. A victory against KKR would confirm their place in the playoffs.

Tim David, acquired for Rs 3 crore in the mega auction, has delivered impressive performances. In 11 matches, he has scored 186 runs in 8 innings at an average of 93 and a blazing strike rate of 193.75. His best knock came against PBKS, where he remained unbeaten on 50. Since his IPL debut in 2021, David has accumulated 845 runs at an average of 33.80 and a strike rate of 174.94.
