Swastik Chikara Likes “Fraud” Post on Devdutt Padikkal, Sparks RCB Drama!

After the latest controversy in IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Swastik Chikara has grabbed headlines for his off-field behavior despite not playing a single match this season. The 20-year-old has become a fan-favorite due to his bold antics, including using Virat Kohli’s perfume without permission inside the dressing room. RCB skipper Rajat Patidar admitted the incident left everyone stunned, while Swastik further entertained fans with impromptu dance moves at Jaipur Airport.

However, Chikara has now landed in trouble after liking an Instagram post calling teammate Devdutt Padikkal a “fraud”, questioning why Swastik hasn’t been given a chance in the playing XI. This move drew widespread criticism on social media for disrespecting a fellow teammate and displaying poor sportsmanship.

Meanwhile, RCB’s performance on the field remains strong. On April 13, they defeated Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. RR posted 173/4, with Yashasvi Jaiswal scoring 75. RCB chased the target in under 18 overs, powered by Phil Salt (65), Virat Kohli (62), and Padikkal (40), consolidating their dominance with another away win. The team’s off-field drama contrasts sharply with their clinical on-field success this season.
