For the upcoming IPL 2025 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has unveiled their new jersey, staying true to their signature orange and black theme. The franchise, which reached the IPL 2024 final, aims to continue its strong performances under the leadership of World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins. The newly revealed jersey, showcased on social media, features players like Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Chahar, and Abhinav Manohar, with a stylish Instagram reel set to Kendrick Lamar’s song “DNA”. Another reel creatively depicts Sharma sketching the jersey before posing with his teammates.
SRH entered the IPL in 2013, replacing the Deccan Chargers, and immediately made the playoffs. After struggling in the next two seasons, they won their first and only title in 2016. Between 2017 and 2020, they remained a consistent playoff contender, but their form declined between 2021 and 2023. However, their resurgence in IPL 2024 saw them reach their third final, making them one of the top contenders for the 2025 season.
With the tournament set to begin on March 22, SRH fans are excited about their team’s prospects. The franchise hopes to build on last season’s success and reclaim the IPL trophy after nearly a decade.
