The Proteas head coach, Shukri Conrad, announced South Africa’s Test Squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan. The first Test will take place in Centurion from December 26 and the second Test will be held in Cape Town from January 3. The series will be a key opportunity for the team to showcase their strength and prepare for future challenges.
For Temba Bavuma and his team, securing a victory in at least one game in the series is vital as it will earn them a spot in the final of the ICC World Test Championship at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. This achievement would be a significant milestone for South African cricket.

The CSA selection committee has taken a risk including Keshav Maharaj and Wiaan Mulder in the Test squad, despite fitness concerns.
