Virat mentioned that Ranveer has hit a completely different level with this film, and his performance was beyond brilliant. He simply put “absolutely WOW”.
Anushka said Ranveer took this rare character and delivered something really solid and flawless. It’s nice to see big stars like them from the cricket world coming out and praising a movie so openly. Their words show the film has reached a much wider crowd and created proper buzz. Many in the industry and regular folks who’ve watched it are saying Ranveer’s role is so good that it might easily win him a National Award. Coming to the collections, the figures are unbelievable.
Dhurandhar 2 has already made Rs 1041 crore net in India, which means it’s the first Hindi film to break the 1000 crore barrier. It had nice jumps on weekends, held its ground okay on weekdays despite some drops, and even did well overseas by beating Baahubali 2 in certain places.
