Just before the start of IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has unveiled its new jersey, marking a return to its traditional colors. The franchise has removed the light blue shade introduced in 2024, opting instead for a darker blue alongside the classic red, a move aimed at appeasing loyal fans who were not in favor of last season’s design.
The new era for RCB began under the leadership of Rajat Patidar, who officially revealed the jersey. The franchise’s X (Twitter) handle confirmed the update, and the jersey will be formally launched at the RCB Unbox Event on March 17. This event is expected to feature major announcements, adding to the growing excitement surrounding IPL 2025 following India’s Champions Trophy triumph.
Despite boasting iconic players like Virat Kohli, RCB is yet to win an IPL trophy but remains one of the league’s most followed teams. Their IPL 2025 campaign kicks off against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 22, marking a fresh start under new captain Rajat Patidar. Fans are eager to see if this change in leadership and jersey design will bring RCB its long-awaited title.
