Ravindra Jadeja’s Fiery Spell Marks Spectacular Ranji Trophy Comeback

Ravindra Jadeja, along with other Indian players, marked his comeback to the Ranji Trophy, as he played for Saurashtra in the current match against Delhi. He played the tournament after years, and in his comeback game, he was able to secure a five-wicket haul for the team.

Jadeja even grabbed the wicket of Delhi’s captain Ayush Badoni, Indian team wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, and also the wicket of Yash Dhull, the Under 19 World Cup winning captain. He bowled a total of 17.4 overs for Saurashtra, conceding 66 runs, as Delhi was all out at a score of 188.

Before this, Ravindra Jadeja did not perform well in the Australia tour, where India lost the Border Gavaskar Trophy nearly after a decade. Jadeja even took the wicket of Rishabh Pant at just the score of a run, and this five-wicket haul became the 35th in his First-class career.

Ravindra Jadeja’s success in the Ranji Trophy came at the expense of Rishabh Pant, it is hopeful that Pant also marks his comeback for Delhi in the second innings. It should be noted that both Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja are currently a part of the Indian team for the Champions Trophy.
